What is self-love?

Self-love means that you accept yourself fully, treat yourself with kindness and respect, and nurture your growth and wellbeing.

Self-love encompasses not only how you treat yourself but also your thoughts and feelings about yourself. When you love yourself, you have an overall positive view of yourself. It allows you to talk to yourself like you would to someone you love, to be comfortable with who you are and to accept ourselves, warts and all. Learning to being kinder to ourselves when things go wrong increases our enjoyment of life, our resilience and our well-being. It also helps us accept others as they are.

Life Coaching does not offer any quick fixes to achieve personal change or ''magic away'' personal difficulties but helps the individual to reach their own conclusions and solutions as it encourages them to 'pull out' from themselves problem-solving strategies.

Drawing on and adding to their existing skills helps individuals to build greater self-reliance and confidence in managing change in their lives. Difficulties that may have seemed formidable, even insuperable in the past can be managed or resolved within the problem-solving frameworks

The ultimate goal of Life Coaching is for individuals to become their own coaches once the coaching programme has ended.

‘Over the past few sessions with Ray I have recognised how to overcome fears and mind-sets that have been present for many years. Ray has allowed to talk openly and give honest feedback around the tools which will be helpful for me and how to break down aspects of my challenges. I now own them and can face them with positivity. Mindfulness meditation has opened my eyes to a calmer world. Thank you Ray.’
